Mamma Mia! Spice up your evening with IU Date Night: An Alumni Cooking Experience! Join fellow IU alumni and friends on Thursday, February 27th, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM for an interactive, Italian-inspired cooking class designed to bring people together over great food and memorable moments. Whether you’re a seasoned chef or a beginner, this event offers a relaxed, fun setting to learn new culinary skills with the guidance of Jim Huffman, a professional chef from Walnut Hill Catering. Enjoy mingling with alumni, savoring delicious flavors, and preparing a full Italian menu that’s sure to impress!

Menu:

  • Antipasto/Appetizer: Italian Cured Meats, Cheeses, Pickles, Olives, and Focaccia
  • Primo/ First Course: Penne with Red Sauce, Penne with Garlic, and Butter Sauce
  • Secondo/Second Course: Grilled Italian Chicken Breast
  • Contorno/Side Course: Italian Roasted Vegetables
  • Dolce/Dessert: Pana Cotta
