Give Back with IUAA Greater Cincinnati at Freestore Foodbank

Celebrate IU Day with the IUAA Greater Cincinnati Chapter!

We will start the day by giving back to our community with a volunteer shift at the Freestore Foodbank's Bea Taylor Market from 2-5 p.m. Volunteers will stock shelves, assist customers during their shopping experience, staff the check-in and checkout counters, assist customers to their vehicle with their groceries and load into the vehicle, and perform simple maintenance activities to keep the market clean and customer friendly.

After our volunteer shift, we'll meet up for happy hour at Incline Public House to enjoy some brews and great views! You're welcome to join us for happy hour even if you can't make the volunteer shift at Freestore Foodbank. Incline Public House is family-friendly and also serves food and nonalcoholic options. It's located in the Price Hill neighborhood at 2601 W 8th St, Cincinnati, OH 45204.

Important information for those volunteering: Registration for the volunteer shift is required and spaces are limited. All volunteers must be at least 16 years old. The Freestore Foodbank's Bea Taylor Market is located at 3401 Rosenthal Way, Cincinnati, OH 45204. When registering, you may need to create an account and select IUAA Greater Cincinnati - Malone as the group name. You must wear closed-toe shoes and shirts must have sleeves.
